Explore the Changing Landscape of Education with EduFest WA Mid-West.
EduFest WA Professional Learning Day Mid-West has been designed to help educators in regional Western Australia equip their students with the skills and mindsets they will need for the future of work. This dynamic one-day workshop invites teachers and school leaders to explore new ways to level up their projects, programs, and initiatives, as they work to foster a culture of innovation and future thinking in their schools and communities.
Throughout the day, educators will explore how to strengthen their learning experiences by harnessing digital tools to work smarter, building industry partnerships to connect the classroom with the wider community, and drawing inspiration from what is happening in schools across Australia and around the world. The program blends innovative education practices and big-picture thinking with practical masterclasses and opportunities for collaboration.
With the chance to connect with innovative educators from across the region, build relationships with local industry, and apply new insights to their own school programs, the EduFest WA Professional Learning Day offers an energising and impactful day of professional learning.

This year’s EduFest WA Professional Learning Day is all about helping educators level up their learning experiences to equip young people with the skills and mindsets they need for the future of work. Our 2025 program will be as follows:
9:00am - 10:30am

Opening Block | Think Big, Dream Bold
We will start the day by challenging attendees to think big about what is possible in their school communities. Through an inspiring keynote, global case studies, and future-focused discussions, educators will explore what their projects, programs, and initiatives could look like in 3, 5, 7, and 10 years’ time. Together, we will unpack the opportunities that exist today, consider the challenges we might face, and begin to design solutions that can bring our visions to life.

10:30am - 11:00am
Morning Tea
We'll be having a brain break to network, process our ideas, and refresh before our next session.

11:00am - 12:30pm
Middle Block | Build Skills, Grow Impact
The middle block of the day will see attendees diving deeper into their practice with a series of masterclasses designed to build new skills and approaches. These sessions will include a masterclass on using AI and digital tools to work smarter, not harder; a masterclass on building industry partnerships to connect classrooms with community; and a masterclass on developing your personal brand to help grow networks, increase impact, and open new opportunities for students. Each session will feature guest presentations, fireside chats, and Q&As with experts who are already leading this work in schools and industry.

12:30pm - 1:15pm
Lunch
We'll be having a brain break to network, process our ideas, and refresh before our next session.

1:15pm - 2:30pm
Final Block | Share, Collaborate, Activate
To close the day, attendees will apply their learnings to their own projects and initiatives, getting them ready to share and implement. In our final session, we will welcome industry partners for a round robin showcase, giving educators the opportunity to share their ideas, gather feedback, and explore potential partnerships. By the end of the day, every participant will walk away with a clear, tangible plan for their learning experience, ready to bring back to their school community and implement with confidence.
