EduFest WA Geraldton 2026 has been designed for educators ready to explore how schools can prepare young people for a world being reshaped by technology, automation and changing workforce expectations, while continuing to strengthen the human capabilities that matter most.
Across the day, attendees will unpack how educators can design learning experiences that build curiosity, adaptability and a genuine love of learning, helping students develop the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world. From artificial intelligence and digital tools through to wellbeing, mindset and human capability, the day explores how schools can equip young people not just to keep up with change, but to grow through it in ways that are meaningful within regional communities.

EduFest WA Geraldton brings together educators from across the Mid West for a day of practical conversations, fresh ideas and collaborative learning designed to support teaching in a rapidly changing world.
From keynote presentation and hands-on masterclasses through to educator discussions and collaborative design activities, the program has been built to help attendees explore how digital tools can enhance learning, how human skills can be intentionally developed and how schools can prepare students for changing industries and emerging opportunities across the region.

Ease into the day with coffee, connection and an opening conversation that sets the tone for the program ahead. This session will explore why the balance between digital and human has become one of the most important conversations in education today, particularly as schools prepare students for a world of accelerating change.

This opening keynote explores how educators can strengthen the human skills that remain essential in an increasingly automated world. From curiosity and communication through to adaptability, judgement and lifelong learning, this session will unpack the capabilities students will need to stay competitive as industries evolve and technology continues to reshape work and life.

Designing For Your Community
Before exploring tools and ideas, this session invites educators to step back and consider who they are designing for. Using a user-centred design lens, attendees will reflect on the needs, strengths and realities of their own school communities, identify where current opportunities and challenges sit and explore how these insights can shape more meaningful learning experiences.

Masterclass 3 | Building Human Skills In A Fast Moving World: Explore how schools can strengthen communication, adaptability and critical thinking while linking learning more closely to the world students are growing up in.
